Randello Beach: One of the Best Beaches in Ragusa

 

Just 15 kilometres from Marina di Ragusa lies the protected area of Randello, one of the most beautiful and evocative corners of the Ragusa coastline. A vast pine forest and Mediterranean vegetation stretch down to a long golden sandy beach, rich in seashells and still unspoilt.

 

Considered one of the best beaches in Southeastern Sicily, Randello offers crystal-clear waters and a wild, natural landscape. It is the ideal place for those who love peace and quiet and want to spend a day at the beach away from the crowds.

 

The beach stretches for approximately two kilometres and, as it is located within a protected area, there are no equipped beach resorts: here, nature is the true protagonist. Behind the beach, the dunes and Mediterranean vegetation help create a natural and evocative landscape.

 

Access to the reserve is supervised by the Forest Rangers. From here, a trail of approximately 1 kilometre winds through the picturesque pine forest and leads to Randello beach. Along the route, there is a picnic area, surrounded by greenery, where visitors can relax and use the designated barbecue areas to enjoy a pleasant day surrounded by nature.

 

Nearby is the Archaeological Park and Museum of the ancient Greek city of Kamarina, which preserves important evidence of the area's history.

 

Just a few kilometres from Randello lies Scoglitti, a lively seaside resort known for its wide sandy beaches and the many services available to those who love the sea.
