Our Bed and Breakfast ‘Bianco e Blu’ is located in the centre of Marina di Ragusa, only 50 metres from the sea and the free-access sandy beaches. It is in a historic building dating from the early twentieth century, finely furnished and recently renovated. B&B offers all rooms with their own en-suite bathroom.

What will surely make your stay unique, will be the kindness and helpfulness of the staff at Bianco e Blu, as well as the strategic position of the B&B, just 50 metres from the sea, the square, the bus stop, the city council, the tourist office, the bar, restaurants, shops and the pedestrian promenade. About four hundred metres away is the new and modern tourist marina, among the largest in southern Italy.

B&B Rooms

Our B&B is supplied only by double rooms, with the possibility of sleeping a third person on the comfortable sofa bed in each room. The rooms are all larger than the legal standards for tourist facilities and all come furnished in a modern style with their own private bathroom and shower.

The rooms are all very similar to each other, with the same services provided, therefore to better organise our bookings, it is not possible to select the exact room at the time of booking, solely the accommodation that you desire.

The Breakfast

At Bianco e Blu we like to make breakfast our speciality! Each morning the freshness of the products and the quality of the local ingredients are the key to the magic. We serve several types of jams, along with freshly baked bread that comes from our local baker, just a few steps away from the B&B itself!

We also love to serve fresh cakes and pies, all made with the freshest and of course, most local ingredients. In addition to this, we offer fruit juices, milk, espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, croissants and fresh fruit salads.

Of course, on request, it is also possible to have an international breakfast based on typical cold meats and cheeses! What a way to start the day here in Marina di Ragusa!

Enviromental protection A+++

Bianco e Blu is very sensitive to environmental protection! Domestic hot water is produced by solar thermal panels, while almost 70% of the electricity requirement is produced by photovoltaic panels.

In addition, all heat pumps for cooling / heating, are energy-saving, i.e. triple class A+++. There are water drain fountains, LED bulbs, double thermal and sound-absorbing windows, and the original walls are very thick. All this contributes to significantly reduce consumption.

Thanks to all these measures, in 2017 we were awarded by "consumelessMed", a European body that certifies our commitment to reducing consumption.

Breakfast is served every morning from 8.00 to 10.00. Each room has a table allocated for them for breakfast. Our Italian breakfast consists of various types of homemade cakes, jams, fresh bread and juices of various kinds, alternating with croissants and brioche etc. By request on the day before, you can choose the international breakfast consisting of a plate served with different types of cheeses and cold cut meats.

Rooms are cleaned every day between 10.00 and 14.00. Towels and the shower mat are changed daily, along with bed sheets being cleaned every 2/3 nights.

All rooms have been designed to accommodate 2/3 people and are all very similar to each other. For ease of managing bookings, it is not possible to choose a specific room, solely the accommodation type in which you desire.

Our B&B is located in the centre of Marina Di Ragusa and has no reserved parking for customers. Free on-street parking is however available, adjacent to the B&B. There are no car parks however, although this is a very quiet and safe area.

After each check-out, our professional cleaners do what is called an ozone sanitation in each room. A form of deep cleaning that eliminates any bad bacteria or odours left from previous guests.
